Excellent value for money
3 of 3 found this helpful This appears to be a high quality CMOS imaging device. The package included the imaging sensor, cable (USB to camera), cleaning cloth and instructions. I was able to test it out in daylight with my telescope and it seems to work well along with the SharpCap 3.2 software which you will need to download yourself (it’s free). Will now need to try it on a clear night. I’ll update after I’ve done some night photos.
Updated now with some quick photos I took last night. The telescope I have is a Tasco 4.5" reflector which is far from the best, so probably not the best it can do. I'm still trying to understand the SharpCap software. No post processing except for very slight adjustments using IrfanView (a free photo editor).
Honestly, this is not a bad imager at all. Very happy with it.
