Not what I expected
Never bothered to write a review before but want to warn others to save their money. If this was my first exposure to Kinsey Milhone I wouldn't have all of her novels on my bookshelf. Pretty sad stories...one story was not even a story it was the old "think" piece about " if one person could only tell the truth and the other could only lie...how could you tell which was the liar asking only one question"? Honestly, that's not a story and it was
only 2 pages long. I will say the writing is compelling in the area of the author's life but it was depressing and confusing. For the child of an addicted parent there might be some slight help in stories derived from the author's childhood but that's the best I can say. I think Ms. Grafton would have been well advised to take her cathartic thoughts on her childhood to a self-help group or her therapist. She should not have tried to make a book out of her tragic childhood and a few ideas for story lines for Kinsey that she couldn't turn into full novels.. Very disappointing but.....she does write well...I appreciate good allegory, she just chose her subject matter poorly in this case. This is NOT escape literature, folks.

Not the best choice for a frequently used place like a kitchen
These lights come on too easily....even a vibration can turn them on. Okay in closets but for the kitchen they are a nightmare. Have to be charged every 2 days because they come on for everything. In the kitchen I have them under a cabinet...they are hidden from sight by the bottom/apron of the cabinet but even so, my little 40 pound dog walking by can turn them on. Further, they aren't sensitive to light so they come on even when the room is bright . I have 2 other lights almost identical to these but unlike these lights they have a recessed area that the magnet fits in. Makes it easy to put them back after charging and they don't slip off. These lights don't have a recessed area and so if you want to put them on the side of a doorway (or whatever) they can easily slide down the magnet and fall off.

Perfect "no talent" camera
B0rrowed my daughter's camera...took such good pictures and so easily that I bought this one like it for myself.
I understand it has a lot of cool features like the "waterfall " effect but I'm just a no-talent point and shoot person so this is a perfect camera for me. Probably will never use most of the features but got a great price on the camera and it serves my needs. Just cleaned out another closet so I'm actually just taking pic's to sell some things on eBay. My only issue is that somehow I am always bringing the menu display up...and also snapping unwanted photo's when I set the camera down. Something to do with the placement of my fingers and the fact that I think you can take a photo in some way other than just using the normal button on top. I do find that irritating but it may just be me. Really takes good pic's and since I discovered the pop-up flash I'm getting even better ones when it's not sunny.
