Great product for nixtamalizing white corn hominy
2 of 2 found this helpful I used this to nixtamalize white corn hominy so I could cook it and use the hominy as an ingredient. This is an essential process if you are working with white unprocessed hominy corn; otherwise, you end up with hard, tough kernels, even after hours of cooking.

This thing is really easy to use....it is compact and works!
