Jane Austin for men.
If Jane had wanted to write about navel affairs it would have read like this series.

A Mixed Bag

Not for everyone
Far too literate for most readers.
Consider it a good choice if:
You re-read Jane Austin for enjoyment.
You were a history, or lit major pre 1970.
You are well travelled and a serious blue water sailor.
