Winds and tides
The recipes are great, and the pictures are stupendous. As a native New Englander living in exile in New Mexico (not that bad really), I get homesick looking at our beaches and harbors.

I bought the book, because my family were involved in UR activities in Whately, MA, not far south of Vermont. This is a valuable source in filling in details and suggesting new leads to exploring a period that had to be shrouded in mystery while it was happening and which was talked about but not written down back in the 1920's and 1930's. Practical teeth to a theoretical Model
The SIOP model for teaching English through content area instruction gives teeth to the theoretical model; i.e. if you want children or adults to be interested in knowing how to express themselves in practical and academic situations, then give them compelling material.
