I really like the flat matte finish on this uke. It makes it easier to slide my hand up and down the neck than glossy finishes—they can get a little sticky. It’s brighter sounding than my mahogany sopranos and has better definition on the high notes. Great uke!

Plays perfectly, everything I could have...
Plays perfectly, everything I could have hoped for. I was going to mod a guitar to have 5 strings by myself, but luckily I stumbled onto this listing. There is plenty of room between the strings for my fat fingers, and I can already play chords where I would have have accidental muted or buzzed against adjacent strings with my fingernails on my left hand. I also dig the cedar top and fishman preamp. Definitely a game changer for my guitar playing!
