Works great just needs subscription

I already had the exact same SAT receiver with a lifetime subscription. However it quits after about 30 minutes. I was hoping to swap parts with the new E-Bay purchase one which works perfectly except for the needed subscription of course. But no luck was had in trying build a refurb receiver.
