Good remote for Overhead Door unit

Does the job, works with an older Overhead Door closer. Just have to set the dip switches in closer and remote to match. Make sure the frequency is correct for your model closer too.

Authentic history of life in the Appalachians decades ago

The author writes of life on a hardscrabble farm in the 1940's, I believe, in a warm and compelling, simple, manner. Fascinating for the nuances of the life (little sister Dot stuck under a horse-drawn farm roller, yet just fine afterwards; the muddy field likely saved her legs). Matter-of-fact, yet very true to this man's life.
