Direct Fit for Old Box Fan Motor

I purchased this Dayton 1/4 HP motor to replace a fan motor in an old large belt driven box fan. This motor was the exact size and shape of my previous motor. I simply reversed the startup direction and bolted it in place using the same bolt pattern of my old motor. It seems well built and is working great now. I have no idea how long this one will last, but it seems well built to me.

Swollen and useless in 2 months.

Zero Star! I ordered this replacement battery 17 December 2016. It came in quickly and I installed it with no problem. It seemed to work alright, not great, but passable for a while. In late January 2017 the battery length was worse than the one I had removed. By middle February 2017 my phone would simply turn off when the battery level dropped to 50 or 60%. I had to plug it in to a charger to power up the phone and then it would be at 0 – 5 % charge level. By the end of February 2017 it would just simply turn off when the battery level dropped below 80% and be a 0% when plugged in and powered up. Naturally I ordered another battery from another source. Yesterday, 26 February 2017 I had the phone plugged in all day to a external battery and it almost depleted that big battery trying to keep it charged. Today, 27 February 2017 I changed the battery. This battery purchased from LocalMall was so swollen that the back of my cell phone had already popped open. (I had the phone in a case and therefore did not know it had opened.) The new battery I installed was around 50% charged and it lasted quite a while and discharged properly down to 5% or lower with no problems. I certainly would never recommend this battery to anyone. It is totally useless and almost destroyed my phone in less than three months.
