Great daily pen
I suppose that every fountain pen user should have a Safari. I didn't. Now I do. I picked this particular pen because I liked the color and it has a broad nib. The nib is smooth and nicely wet, especially in this price range.

Quality at a bargain price!
This pen is attractive, well made and writes smoothly. The nib even has a little bounce to it. Value is excellent, given the price point versus the quality and the gold nib! The compromise is in size. It's a little small for my medium size hand but works well when posted. If you are looking for a gold nib at a reasonable price, you have found it!
