Small but great value, adaptable, and beautiful fireplace.
If you accept the fact this is only ~12" long with a flaming area ~ six inches, then it is absolutely great. This well made unit was assembled and fueled in less than eight minutes. Based on an abundance of caution I had a small piece of asbestos panel to set it on in case it got hot. The flames danced hypnotically across the burner for 45 minutes on initial run. Fearing the metal base getting very hot I was prepared to put it away with cooking gloves, but I was surprised to find the base at room temperature with only the glass sides being a little hot. Excellent thermal design. Although small I already have half a dozen uses around my home and I am taking to a friend's party to provide a secondary gathering place at the upcoming, outdoors, cold New Years eve. Thanks, great product.
