Good blend of acoustic and electric guitar sound.

The Boss Acoustic Simulator pedal has helped take my own music in a slightly different direction. I'm primnarily an acoustic guitar playing singer/songwriter, but have found an "additional voice" by incorporating a Les Paul guitar into the sound I call my own. With the Acoustic Simulator am able to continue to feature an acoustic guitar sound, but now it is "right beside" a two pick up mellow electric guitar sound, as well as the edgy bite of an overdriven lead guitar channel, on my amp. All three optios are just a foot pedal away, so the electric blues, acoustic blues and midway between can all be achieved within the same song. The pedal hasn't replaced my acoustic, but has given me flexibility that I've sought. And even after giving it a workout I'm still tinkering to find specific sounds appropriate to the music I play. Definitely a good purchase.

Good solution to a bad problem.

The laptop has proven to be a good purchase. I bought it when Microsoft announced it would no longer support XP, one of their best operating systems. This laptop, with Windows 7 cost less than replacing the operating system on the old laptop, and has served me well.
