Not Fragile, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, Very Good

just straight forward rock
BTO may not be the most accomplished musicians out there, but they are a favorite of mine. Catchy hooks and driving guitar riffs coupled with many tempo changes in their songs make this band plain fun to hear. Not Fragile is my favorite album of this band. Four Wheel Drive and BTO II also score. Just turn on the CD player and let this one rip at high volume. Ah, back in the 70's again.

great start to a great band
Emerson Lake and Palmer have always been a favorite group of mine. This debut album was released as I started high school. This was a time of great singer-songwriters and well this album was just too cool and different. Not your typical singer-songwriter kind of group. Lucky Man gets all the hype but "Take a Pebble" is my favorite. Vocals are just plain fantastic and articulate. Love the use of a synthesizer throughout the album. Well in 2015 this great debut stands the test of time. Actually it sounds even better today. If you like Yes and Pink Floyd you will enjoy this album.

The best original album series
I own a bunch of these series and enjoy them all. This one is my favorite. It begins with a raw garage band sound and lots of spruced up cover songs. Each album gains more sophistication in its sound. I love the first two albums the most. A good value and the supplier I bought from sent a brand new sealed set. Shipping fast and price competitive.
