Works with a Nikon ED AF Nikkor 180mm 1:2.8 lens if you add a slight shim.

Purchased for use with a Nikon ED AF Nikkor 180mm 1:2.8 lens. Almost but not quite a perfect fit, it needs an additional shim about the thickness of 2 or 3 sheets of paper. With the shim, it is a tight fit and doesn't shift. Of course plastic shim stock would be ideal. This appears to be the best easily available option for this Nikon lens. Nice design, I like the way the screw clamps down on the hinged ring to tighten against the lens. Fast shipping. Very happy with this purchase!
