if you like a bulb that looks like a bulb

reaches maximum output slowly.
doesn't work on line with dimmwer even if the switch is at max.

Old Water Pik almost as good
Although this is a direct replacement for an ancient Water Pik that served me well for more than 15 years, the new old one although bearing the same Model number is not quite the same. The pump has to be primed before each use which is a nuisance but not a fatal flaw.
There is no question that these old models are more substantial than the models you can buy now. Newer isn't always better.

Big voice--Big box

FM tuner is cumbersome since you have to scroll through all the numbers to reach your chosen station.
There are two speakers but I can't tell if it is stereo sound.
I hope it will last longer than my previous speaker from a different company.
It didn't!
