Good Value device

Built around 1968 and almost perfect!

The unit came to me looking basically new. I actually built the same receiver in 1968, so I was aware of the strengths and weaknesses of it. I still have my unit, but cosmetically over the years, it has become rusty. The guy I bought this unit from told me that it had sat in a stereo console for 40 years. After seeing it, I believe him. I replaced all the large capacitors, since they were so old, but it really didn't need it. I now have a pristine small stereo in my study that drives a pair of Ampex speakers (circa 1962) that are also pristine. Couldn't be better!
