Took 2 to get one to work
1 of 1 found this helpful First X-998 was defective right out of the box-noise even when car was off!!
Second one working fine....knock on wood. Overall, a very feature packed
audiophile head unit. Excellent EQ,time alignment and 4 volt preouts make
this the best head unit I've owned to date.
And please don't listen to the reviews about it being hard to figure out or
operate. It's very easy to navigate through all the features it's really easy!!

Surprised
This actually works well and seems to be of decent quality. Takes a little guesswork with
adjusting, but it strips only the insulation, not the conductors which is great. Definitely
worth $10.00!!

Don't buy "car audio wire"
2 of 2 found this helpful Works great for car audio. All copper, edpm jacket and the same cost as CCA copper-
coated aluminum-A no brainer, unless you think aluminum is a better conductor.
