LOOKS MORE NATURAL AMONGST THE FOILAGE
These personally I think are the much better than the wooden bird houses because they look MORE NATURAL hidden in the foilage ! The holes are better to ie: bigger than some more expensive wooden houses, although I think the holes should be a bit "HIGHER" (I was thinking of turning them upside down, but would need the hanging cord the opposite end)...to protect the sparrows/fledglings more, it would leave more room for the birds to hide in away from the sparrow Hawks, which can arrive anything up to 20 times a day to tear them apart & eat them ?!
We try our hardest to ward the BIRDS OF PREY OFF with loud noises, & it works.
I just wish people would THINK TWICE about cutting their hedges/bushes/trees away, because that's when the little birds get EXPOSED & then eaten by BIRDS OF PREY & CATS ?!...NOT GOOD ?!...There is a DECLINE in SONG BIRDS because of this reason ?!
