Tamron SP 45mm f/1.8 Di VC USD Lens and TAP-In-Console for Canon Mount Cameras

Great lens, great price
2 of 2 found this helpful This is my first non-canon lens, I was very skeptical for 3rd party lenses. I was searching for a 50mm Canon lens but i did not like the quality of the Canon 50mm f1.8 and the autofocus ring problmes of the Canon 50mm f1.4, and the Canon 50mm f1.2 was out of budget... So i went with the Tamron 45mm f1.8. The lens is very sharp even when is used at f1.8. For me the autofocus is a bit slow. I bought it with the TAP-in console and did some micro-adjustment. As for chromatic aberration, it has some purpl and green fringing but it can be corrected in post production easily. The VC works really good. I did a lot of reasearch before buying the lens, and i found Dustin Abbott youtube channel with a really good review.
