My Favorite Illustrator
Beth Krommes' illustrations are perfect for this fascinating collection of stories about Selkies, Water Horses, Gnomes, Elves, Fairies and other Secret Beings that might help, or perhaps harm, people. The folklore collected here is unusual, and feels like a passing-along of tips for proper behavior to avoid trouble with the Hidden Folk.
