Power Heated Trailer Mirrors
Overall I thought it was a good buy. I had a collision repair person do the installation so I can't speak to the ease of installation although he said everything went smoothly. I just bought a trailer and I have an older Dodge diesel with the smaller mirrors so these were a must and made trailering so much more enjoyable.
I thought the quality was good although some piece came loose in the driver side mirror and was rattling but I got a piece of tape on it. All seems good.
Update: The power mirror on the drivers side has stopped working. The loose part is still rattling. I'm guessing, but the loose part has something to do with the power control. When the mirror is upright and you adjust the control, left right up down and when it is folded in the control has to know what is left right up and down. Mine was always goofy when it was working. Now I'm in a quandary. Do I buy another set and just install the drivers side? Live with it and just adjust by hand? A little disappointed. Still don't know if the heated part works. Anybody else have any issues with it?
