NOT backlit, European version
Unlike what is described in the listing's title, this keyboard does NOT have LED backilighting. Unlike what is pictured on the product page, this is NOT the US version, but rather is the European variant. It is functionally the same, but several labels are different, such as Alt Gr replacing the right Alt key's labeling and there is a Euro symbol on the 5 key. Though the keyboard is different from the US model in the picture, I don't really have a problem with the Euro labels on the keys, since it fits my Sager NP8678-S and functions the same regardless. My problem is that there is no backlight, meaning I cannot see which keys I am typing in the dark. Small problem, to be sure, but a problem nonetheless. Recommended as a backup keyboard, not for primary use unless you intend to never use it in a dark area. Attached photo is to show that the keyboard does not light up as it should, regardless of how the laptop is configured (you can see the built-in Control Center software with Backlighting maxed. Keyboard Shortcuts also do not enable backlight as they should).
As I typically use my laptop in a well-lit room, I cannot justify another purchase to replace this keyboard, but in the future I will look elsewhere for a keyboard replacement.
