great sound!

This muffler is easily half the weight and half as restrictive as the stock muffler on my 08 expedition. had headers and this installed at the same time. I love the sound and I would like to think that the muffler helped add some power as well. looked great coming out of the box. good welds and constriction. comparable cost to other performance mufflers on the market and I love the straight through design.

Great sound!

These headers sound great on my 08 expedition! I like to think that I am pretty good with cars and I would say that the quality of these headers is top notch. The welds were very clean, no bulges or cracks, not even a scratch. I thought I might be able to install these myself over a weekend judging by what the description said (reasonable mechanical experience and mechanics tools). I would say that this should say extensive experience and tools including a lift, engine jack, etc. This is my 1 reason for 4 stars. I was not too upset though because I really didn't have the time or energy to put these on myself so I took it to a shop. They ended up charging me 700ish for the install plus the cost of removing a stud that was broken before I got the car. I was pretty content with the price because these were comparable to headers that are of similar quality. When the shop saw that I had a set of gibson headers they were very happy because they bolt to factory holes and factory Y-pipe. I also purchased a magnaflow muffler and aftermarket high flow air intake. These additions helped the sound but I could tell that the headers definitely made a huge difference in sound and power. I would recommend the other items as well for somebody installing headers. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the product I purchased and the service of my local exhaust shop.
