Not made like they used to be
I swear the Taiwan made porta power sets from about 10-15 years ago were infinitely better quality. Will this one get the job done? Barely. Will it come shipped to you needing oil? Yes. Are the 4 ton and 10 ton units the same units? Yes. The rams are supposedly rated for 10 tons, but once you use an extension, that drops the rating down to 4 tons. Expect to pump that ram 30 times before it will start to budge. It doesn't help that I used to own a blackwell setup from the 50s, that worked like a charm, but I also used to borrow an older Taiwan set from a shop neighbor, and I swear the quality was much better than this. Barely worth the $100-

Martin tool quality has gone way downhill. Dolly was finished poorly, with sharp edges protruding from the middle of the radius. Garbage...
