Not your fathers AMT Corvette kit
This is another satisfying kit from the AMT / ERTL era. This is a highly detailed representation of a 1970 Chevrolet Corvette LT-1 / ZR-1. Unlike AMT kits from the past, this kit is full of correct details. I have not built it yet but I have built several AMT kits from this era and they all have built into excellent representations. Well worth the money spent.

What's in the box isn't what's on the box
1 of 1 found this helpful This kit by MPC is supposed to be a replica of the 1978 Dodge B150 van from the movie 'Cannonball Run'. Unfortunately the van in the kit is a representation of a 1980 and later version. To make maters worse the grille assembly is a made up version that was never offered on a Dodge van. Otherwise, the kit is the standard MPC Dodge van kit that has been re-issued multiple times. Unless you are seeking this kit for it's box art and it's attachment to the movie, save the money and buy a more common (and more correct) version.

Charger 500
This is one of many re-issues variants of MPC's 1969 Dodge Charger. The most recognizable version of this kit is the General Lee. This version of the kit represents the rare Charger 500 that was a very limited production model to legalize changes to improve the Charger's aerodynamics for NASCAR racing. The kits design dates back to the 60's so it's a lot more simplified that more current kits but it's proportions and details are good. The only downer with the kit is the wheels on the box art aren't supplied in the kit.
