Good Locomotive, but inspect running gears before running.
For a DCC ready unit it's quite useable although I will suggest before breaking the locomotive in remove the shell and access the running gears via the trucks as well and make sure everything has grease or oil lubercation to it.
Some reason these DCC ready locomotive's from Bachmann sound a little on the dry side and not quite.

Works good for what it is.
Pro: Simple and easy to use
Con: I can not adjust the settings on it to try other ways to charge a battery.
