Not As Advertised

Although this product advertised that it would fit the Stihl 026 Chain Saw the parts were not compatible with this model. Not all of the parts could be used. The carburetor and bar chain oil filter were the only parts that I used. The fuel pick up line was bigger in diameter than the one that I needed to replace thus it would entail enlarging the access hole into the fuel tank. Not a good move. Also a replacement fuel filter would have been a good addition to the kit. The air filter did fit onto the carburetor, but it was bigger than the one it replaced thus I was not able to reinstall the outer cover and the new filter did not have the proper screws to allow the cover to seat properly. I cleaned the old filter the best I could and reinstalled it back on the saw. After cleaning and replacing the parts I could use the saw cranked up as it should and I was able to do the job I needed to do. Buy this kit at your own risk!!!

A good after market part

So much easier to replaced a clogged filter than to continue to try and clean it. A very good price for a reliable replacement part.
