It works fine for me.
1 of 1 found this helpful I needed a small heater that would fit in the 5 gallon sump under my 35 gallon tank. This is the only heater I could find that would fit. I have been using it for 5 months now without an issue. It keeps my water at a constant 70 degrees.
If I had room for a stick (test tube) shaped heater I would have bought a higher quality heater from a brand name manufacture.

The single BEST aquarium filter you will EVER find!
I have been running an EC40 on my aquarium for about 6 years now and it produces perfectly clear water with a filter pore size small enough to catch free floating algae, bacteria and fungus. I have just purchased a second for my new 300g aquarium.
