The Very Hungry Caterpillar Board Book
The book is interactive, with little holes in the center of each item the hungry caterpillar eats. Perfect for little fingers to follow the caterpillars path! The fact this is a board book makes it toddler friendly!! At a young age, kids can lose interest in hearing the story, but I'm sure that will change. At 12-18 months, its more about the interaction! So far we love this book, and I've bought it as gifts for friends, and would recommend it!

Bob the Builder - Can We Fix It? (2001, VHS)
The tape is rather lengthy for an active toddler. However, there are short stories, so it can be stopped in between. My son loves to immitate Bob, and has his own tool set and usually "helps" around the house with his tools! So far, the lessons seem to have good morals and values of helping others, teamwork, cleanliness, etc. Recommended.

Rocket Up, Rolie!
This books is about a little boys dream of flying away in a rocket. We like the rocket which goes up on the side if you pull it down, kinda fun interaction. My son rarely asks for me to read this book, however, he may be more interested as he grows older (he's 12-18 months old right now).
