Excellent 3D camcorder works on LD and Sony 3D TVs!
2 of 2 found this helpful Good points excellent and can be bought on Ebay for $950/£600 - do not buy from web sites - One wanted $300 for postal insurance ($950 for camera/free postage/$300 insurance) can be manually set to video out of the screen forwards as well as behind the screen. So 3D objects move from inside the TV displaying the scene to in front of the TV screen.
Batteries purchsed on EBay can give you up to 5 hrs record time in 3D for £10/$16 (price of 4500mAH battery) These batteries work in place of FH batteries but the older batteries will not work on the HDR-TD10! It only takes FV batteries.
Takes good fireworks displays if taken off auto focus and set to manual focus at infinity an 8 on its side.
Camera is smaller than you think.
Camera works on LG 3D TVs aswell as Sony TVS via the HDMI lead.
Downsides:
Will not take 3D stills only 2D (This is not silly you can get 3D still printed at £6/$10 and they can be veiwed without glasses) but not this camera
The software is not as useful as on the HDR-ST7 - you can save the files to your computer but not play them in 3D to your TV. With the SR7 software you can use it to manipulate save and play the SR7 HD files.
However you can save the HDR-TD10's AVHC file and then when you want to see it in 3D again copy it back to the camera and play it on the camera back through the HDMI lead to the TV.
Sony centres in the UK often have not heard of or stock the camera!!!!

Putting a Hard Drive in place of the CD drive in the HP Pavillion TX2+ serries Laptop
The CD drive can be interchanged with up to a 2 gb hard drive in most of the HP TX2, TX1000 and TX2000 Laptops and all of the TX2500s.
However you need a chinese CD/hard drive cradle and the interface which is screwed on to the base of this particular CD drive (the TS-L633) as is swaps between a Sata drive plug on this Cd and the computer CD socket in the Laptop.
The Sata connector on the CD/ hard drive cradle has an identical sata connector to the one on the TS-L633 CD drive so if the interface has its retaining screws removed when the CD drive is inserted the interface remains in the laptop on removal of the CD drive.
This means the CD cradle or the Cd drive can be swapped over and both will work in the computer. Just power down between swaps. .

At last the correct oil filter
Well the correct "Oil Filter Volkswagen Sharan 1.9 TDi PD 8V 1896 Diesel (11/02-3/06) for my 2004 Sharan - however the wrong one was sent. I set messages and another one was on its way with a sort of apology. I phoned up and explained and was passed to a very helpful man who sent out the correct filter which arrived the following day. However so did a second wrong filter. It was easy to return both rong filters.
However I asked the firm to sell me a spare and heard nothing back - maybe the only way to get the correct filter from this firm is to phone up
