Wii Fit Plus = More Wii Fit Fun
From the moment I first started using Wii Fit to train and workout at home, I was hooked. I was impressed with the variety and 'fun factor' of the program. Wii Fit Plus continues with the variations of how to make getting fit more enjoyable. Fit plus expands on the initial goals and principles of Wii Fit by adding new 'arcade' type exercise activities along with allowing the user to create goals and personalized, tailored workouts. As a person who never stuck to a regular gym routine, I have to say I look forward to my daily workout with the Wii Fit Plus. I was just congratulated for my 52nd day of working out and it felt great!

Don't know how I managed so long without it!
I guess the answer to my own question is, I managed my A/V equipment with a "bouquet" of remotes that were factory included as well as some universals. The factory included remotes of course, were able to control all functions of their intended devices. The universal remotes, at best, were able to control the basics like on/off, channel up/down volume up/down etc. I achieved success with the universal remotes after what seemed like hours of searching for and trying out various brand specific codes. Even after all that work, I STILL managed to have a TV remote, a PVR remote, a DVD player remote and an xbox 360 wireless controller. If I Decided I wanted to switch from watching a program I had recorded to playing a game on the xbox meant I had to gather up two if not three of the remotes and push the on/off on some and the input source on others, my thumbs would already be slightly fatigued before getting to the game. The Logitech Harmony 520 Remote Control ended that on going battle. After using compatibility mode in Windows 7, then allowing the software to update itself all I needed to do was create an account with Logitech, supply the type, the manufacturer and the model number for each device, connect the USB cable from the remote to the computer and then Logitech did its magic! There was a bit of a learning curve for me, not the remote when it came to getting familiar with the software options. The beautiful thing is, once you get the computer/software set-up done, you're able to take the remote on a 'test drive' to see how the programmed settings work. There's an on remote help button that will walk you through, step by step and making its own attempts to correct anything that may not be functioning as you expected. Now, when I want to watch a recorded program, I push one button that activates a series of functions to attain the task. The TV will turn on, set itself to the proper input needed, the PVR will turn on and then I just need to scroll with the directional arrows on the remote to get to my show. It's SO easy! Bye Bye bouquet of obsolete plastic devices (I took them to my local electronics recycling facility so they can be disposed of in an environmentally friendly way). If I had to use one word it would be FANTASTIC!
