Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X998 CD Receiver w/ Bluetooth (Certified Refurbished)

Simple but feature packed

I will start off by saying that I have always loved Kenwood. My first one was a D-Mask about 15 years ago. This one has a nice clean look to it with modern features such as bluetooth which also handles your phone. Interface is easy to figure out with a lot of options such as a built in equalizer. The only complaints I have is that the reception could be a little better but that may just be the area I am in. The other is the cd door. I have gotten used to Kenwoods motorized faces and find it a little strange to have to manually open the cd access door. I am sure I will get used to it though. The one I purchased was factory refurbished which I have always seemed to have good luck with. The unit looks new and does come with all of the accessories it was supposed to have. Remote, microphone (for phone), face plate, harness, and manual.

Refurbished Viper

I have always seemed to have good luck with refurbished products and this was no exception. It does not come in a retail box and only has a couple of sheets showing what every wire is supposed to be for but that is part of the highly discounted price. Detailed instructions can be easily found online. After it was installed all was working properly as it should.

A must have

These radio adapters for the older vehicles are getting impossible to find locally. These are very similar to the ones we used to be able to get a few years back with one exception: a little more room allowed for the slightly deeper stereos.
