1 of 1 found this helpful I took a chance. A friend of mine bought a Tamron lens and after a few years the elements separated. Tamron said he must have dropped it - even though it was NOT dropped and they never saw the lens. Tamron's attitude was "too bad, it's your fault". So far, I am happy with the resolution and color.
