Gator GPE-335-TSA ATA Molded Hardshell Hollowbody/Gibson 335 Case

Nice case but does not fit guitar great

I am using this case to hold a ES-330 which is dimensionaly the same as a ES-335. But the body of the case is too deep and that allows the guitar to sit in the case too low and the neck to pivot on the neck support so that the lid pushes down on the end of the neck putting a bending force on the neck. Not good. I had to add about a 2" foam pad to the bottom of the case to allow the guitar to sit right. It is an awesome case and very well constructed, but it just does not fit the guitar well. It seems like it is more suited for an acoustic guitar than for a hollow body electric.
