Time again for the grand kids to see 'how it was in '55 before Xbox , YouTube and Apple iphones.
Vintage Monogram box scale kit ( 1/67) of the Douglas A/B-26 that Monogram Models, Inc. ( Now bought over by Revell ) ; first introduced in 1955.
Re-boxed by Monogram in 1967; 1973 etc. Originally molded in gleaming silver plastic; apparently later issues were molded in bright blue, etc. ( Mattel era )
1950's era vintage insignia locators molded into plastic; I first built this kit in 1956 as a child.
I built in again in the 1990's as a then hobby-project with 8 year old kids in my extended family.
