Great value
Using it for couple years now, transferring data from CF cards from an old Nikon DSLR. I would *never* use my cameras cord to transfer data. Only use a card reader. And this one? Still going strong!

Buy verified Nikon batteries, not 3rd party substitutes
Bought this to replace a 3rd party equivalent that simply died during a shoot. That non-Nikon batter would take a charge, but thereafter, after only a few shots, the camera simply went dead. Fortunately I still had the original battery that came with the D300 in 2009. After all these years, it still performs well. In fact, on one trip, before I got a replacement for the spare, having forgot my charger at home on a week-long trip, it went three days (daylight, not often using fill from integral flash) on that single charge, shooting maybe two to three hours a day. It was amazing. You can bet the replacement is another Nikon OEM battery. ... That D300 is my workhorse camera for use in dusty, construction-site shoots. But I also have a D700 and D200 (both use same battery). While I don't use the D200 anymore and haven't for a few years, I never needed to buy a replacement battery for it. Same battery it came with is still the one the kids use in it. The D700 I should have learned my lesson. Bought a couple non-Nikon batteries for it back in the day that frizzled within the first year I used them. I may sound like a slow learner, but I've learned my lesson: genuine Nikon batteries only. (In fact, I found a 3rd party EN-EL3e in my drawer earlier this week while cleaning. I didn't bother to test it; I just chucked it. (Probably not environmentally kosher but... I was disgusted when I saw it and might have been a environmentally incompatible mood at the time).

Pleasure to use.
1 of 1 found this helpful Finally. A can opener I like. In fact, opening a 15 oz can of crushed tomatoes while the teenage boy was in the kitchen, I actually commented after opening the can, "Feels so good, sort of makes you look around quick to see what else needs opening. A little depressing not to get to use it for more than one can."
