I want to like it more

It looks like it would be a great machine. I was so excited to open it. It was fairly easy to assemble. The edge and corner of the metal frame was dented in quite a bit, which I am not too thrilled about after buying a new product for this kind of money. The description of the canisters mentions that it fits 1 inch gumballs, and 1 inch toy balls. So I had my toys and gumballs all ready. What the description doesn't tell you is that there are different compartments for different items. I had to switch the tiems around a few times to figure out why it wasn't working. I placed the gum balls and the toys in the ones with the spring sticking up. I haven't been able to get the other canister (the one without the springs sticking up) to work. Not sure what of item it requires. I've read over the description many times and not sure what to put in there. It would be nice if the description was more specific. I think I may try small candies, like M&Ms? Even after this placement, every few quarters the machine doesn't dispense the item. Not sure why it's getting blocked. I really want this to work, so I'm hoping I can find a solution to these problems so I can give it a better review.
