Needed item
Pricey, but I really needed this to complete a Lionel prewar passenger car, so I bit the bullet, pulled the trigger and now have a special piece in my collection. Sometimes, you just have to do what needs doing. Ebay asks some really dumb questions about parts - is it entertaining? Yeah, sure, if you are considering the completion of a long unfinished project.
Do I recommend it, Well, sure. It is a needed piece of the puzzle that is a restoration. Is it durable? It's Lionel, of course it is durable - the part is close to 80 years old or older. .

Nice pree WWII toy train set of passenger cars.
This is a dumb idea rating something that is an antique, difficult to find in decent condition and can't be bought like a bar of soap or chocolate.
I looked fro many years to find one that I could justify purchasing.

Exact part for intended purpose.
These are dumb questions for a part that is to b used to restore a toy train. The part was exactly what I needed and is already installed in the intended project. This kind of review is not needed and shows the lack of knowledge and respect by the younger generation that has no respect for anything other that their own amusement
