Triple Channel
1 of 1 found this helpful If you're trying to get the best RAM performance out of your Mac Pro, best to install the RAM to utilize the triple channel in the computer instead of the dual channel. Even though there are 4 RAM slots (8 slots in the dual processor configurations), install 3 modules instead, at 1333. Otherwise, your RAM and system performance will suffer.
