Overall good but disappointing display.

Everything you would expect from the specs except the full HD screen has a very limited viewing angle and looks dull and subpar for a Dell product. Somewhat slow until installing an SSD (which was a project with this design - had to remove keyboard etc. and about 25 screws; same would be true of a memory upgrade) but a clean install of Win10 on an SSD and it performs as expected - quite well. It's light weight and battery is good. Not sure what to expect as far as durability given the design and just single screws for the hinges but with the light weight I'm hopeful it can endure a teenage son using it for school. The price for this item used was reasonable and a fair compromise over buying a new model for $200 more.

Best Pi and physical computing book

Covers every topic with great detail. Focused on IO and drills down into the finer points of what's actually happening with detailed scope traces and electronics oriented explanation. Covers programming and configuring Linux for I2C and other communications protocols among many other topics. Not for an absolute beginner (unless very ambitious and persistent) and almost encyclopedic in scope. Great reference on many topics even for those using other micro controllers. Great book.
