Good if you like this kind of thing
If you are into this kind of thing, this is a good book. If you are on the cynical and/or scientific side, not so much.

Well-made and good value, but there are some issues
Pros: well-made and sturdy; good value
Con 1: With the Pic rail installed, you get a partly distorted view of the sights; the bottom of the rail interferes with the top of the sights. I think I will be able to use it, but only time will tell if it makes a significant impact. You can always take the Pic rail off if you want to use open sights as a primary vs. a backup for your optic.
Con 2: It may be my old eyes, but I get the feeling that the pinhole aperture is smaller than normal. I can't see through it as well as I could on my Colt AR. (I can't check my Colt because it is in storage.)
Con 3: It is hard to turn the knobs to make adjustments - maybe a little oil will help.

I was disappointed at first because it didn't work. It turns out I forgot to plug it into the USB port. Then I was disappointed it still didn't work, but I learned that it has a power switch. One it was plugged in and powered on it worked great.
