Pick it up on Ebay and you will say Wow what a cool movie.
Prey for Rock & Roll..... A movie that if it was promoted by a bigger company would have been a huge hit. I have lived the LA music scene back in the 80's and this hit the spot. Life was not a bed of roses if you were in a band and even less if it was an all girl band back in 80's on Sunset. Gina Gershon played the front woman in an all girl band that loved to play and loved to write music about their life. Some were good hard core fun times and some songs just slapped you in the face with the real life of how hard it was to just survive the scene or even live another day. If you can't find the time to watch it then go on I tunes and download just one song "Post Nuclear Celebration Party Song" and you will be hooked with Gina's voice and how she can rock. This movie has a great cast also like: Gina Gershon (Jacki) Drea de Matteo (Tracy) Lori Petty (Faith) Shelly Cole (Sally) The name of the band was Clam Dandy. Cool name for a all female band!
