Functional. Looks cool.
Purchased for an 8 string acoustic guitar. Overall product does work if that's the main criteria you're looking for. I'm never impressed with sellers that have one picture and no sizing chart. The foam insert for this large size doesn't expand across the 8 string fret board. The outer material does stretch to the length of the fret board but I'm worried about durability over time. The inner stitching is a little bulky and adds a fatter saggy look.

Not bad.
This was my first time installing a detangler from out of the box. The schematics they give you are a bit confusing however I didn't have much trouble figuring out how to fit it together. There seems to be a lot of different spots to make fine tune adjustments after you hook it up. I found that I had to max out all of the adjustments on the top portion to get the tension tight enough for the brake trigger. I'm not sure if there's something I could have done differently, but it works with no problems, so I don't have any complaints.
