build quality
when I received these used focals I hooked them up in the house, I noticed one of the midbasses had noise coming from the coil. sounded horrible. I managed to take the unit apart carefully and found that the chrome plating on the magnet plates has peeled off inside and was rubbing on the voice coil. luckily no damage to the coil but I had to remove/scrape off the plating inside. this should be looked at by focal as these drivers are mounted in moist car doors, a guarantee that over time rust will form under the plating and the plating WILL come off.

questionable durabiity
after just 3 months the trampoline portion split from the ring. there are no replacement parts available making this item now useless.
