Great virtual string machine
1 of 1 found this helpful You can do the same with VST plugins, sure, but the Streichfett is a great little tabletop synth with fantastic sound for those that need a little vintage string in their life. I'm impressed with just how good this little box can fake ancient 70s hardware. For its size, stability and overall sound, you can't beat the Streichfett.

Nice protector for the new 3ds
Works as it should. Easy enough application and fit perfectly.

It's copy protection, but hey, it does what it's supposed to...
1 of 1 found this helpful I'm not a big fan of dongle-needing copy protected software, but iLok is kind of the nature of the beast when it comes to quite a few plugins I want to use. You can just use a free account on your computer, and I did for a while, but as your needs change, and as you expand your setup, you may want to bring some of your software on the road or get a more powerful computer to run those VSTs. That's where the iLok really makes sense. I don't have to worry about authorizing my plugins on multiple machines, which isn't even possible with some that only allow one activation at a time like those from Zynaptiq, and even better I don't have to worry about my main machine dying a horrible death and I have to figure out how to recover all of my licenses.
The little metal iLok dongle is tiny, fits in a Macbook Air's USB slot and still allows the power cord to be plugged in (something my bulkier USB drives don't allow... pain in the butt, that) and seems pretty tough. I don't love that I had to buy the dongle, but it took seconds to activate and move my license over to... and now that they're there, I simply need to just stick this into the computer I want to use and everything iLok protected is happy as can be.
