So I wanted to wait until I had the vacuum for an amount of time. It’s been over a month on about 2-3 uses a week. It’s alright for the amount you pay but it’s definitely not the best around. I read through some reviews prior to purchase and I saw many people with dogs appreciated what it could do... I’m not as pleased. I have a golden retriever mix, and it’s been a hot summer so the hair accumulation is at a maximum causing the vacuum to begin to struggle early on. I had about a good 10 uses and then had to tear apart the bottom to dig out the hair that had clumped up not allowing the tank to fill properly. The tank is also a bear to empty bc with all of the hair I vacuum up the accumulation has to be hand picked out. So obviously not hands free and annoying to perform. I do enjoy the suction power it has. You do get the satisfaction of seeing the carpet lift up with travel lines while using it. Hard would floors are kind of lame. You have to go back and forth a lot to make sure everything is picked up. Travel on it is easy. My power cord roll up is lasting well, which I was worried about. The filter is pretty annoying to have to rinse which I’ve only done once but I’m now a little worried about the drying time taking forever, there’s probably a hack to that I just don’t know. So overall I gave this a 2 star bc I have plenty of hardwood and way to much dog hair to be able to use this reliably for a long amount of time so I’m disappointed. Maybe for a simpler household without pet this would be suitable but personally I believe next time I’m going to buck up and spend the big bucks on a dyson or some crazy thingamajig. Maybe one that gets under the furniture... that’ll be the day
