Worst Product Ever Purchased
1 of 1 found this helpful I have purchased several of these over the past 15 years. While most of them break within six months, these two never worked out of the box. One only beeps when you increase/decrease sensitivity. It doesn't do anything for barking. The other is only slightly better. If the dog shakes her head, it will beep at her. But she can bark hysterically and it acts like the battery has been removed. These are fit only for the garbage. Very disappointed to have spent my money on trash items.

One old-time is better than new and improved
1 of 1 found this helpful The new and improved version only heats at a temp of 300 degrees while the old version (this one) heats at a temp of 380 degrees. The original version will put out enough heat to actually catch fresh pellets on fire even with some ash in the burnpot. The improved version won't heat pellets with any ash in the burnpot at all. This means I have to constantly empty it after each firing. I highly recommend the older version, even if it's only to keep on hand for future need.

Gotta love a Lexmark!
I love the beautiful, sharp colors on pictures and graphics. The simple and easy to use interface doesn't require a rocket scientist to figure out in order to use.
The only drawback or negative issue I've had with this printer is the USB connection which breaks down. An easy enough fix, but bothersome, requiring someone to unplug the USB cable from the printer and plug it back in several times until it finally picks up the USB connection again. The printer's USB connector doesn't seem securely in place and the slightest vibration or disturbance dislodges the cable, breaking the communication from computer to printer.
Other than that, it works like a dream! This is my third in 18 years, so I cannot complain about the Lexmark brand. Beautiful, sharp, photo-quality printing even on plain copy paper.
