Upgraded from original 3/8" U bolts

Bolt diameter is bigger than original 3/8". Had to drill out plates but prefer thicker U bolt on rear, counting it as an upgrade

1971 mustang - fits perfect

Installed in a 71 mustang. I already spent more on a set of seats that ultimately didn't work (head was hitting ceiling). These look great. Didn't use a platform but did have to shim the tracks up to allow clearance for the carpet.

Like this over other body fillers

I restore old cars and yes, I often use bondo after my metal work. I have used various fillers over the years and have had excellent results with this particular bondo. I actually ordered 4 cans because I have a number of projects in my shop. The stuff keeps for years with no problems as long as the cans are sealed.
