The RT-N16 is among the highest values available for an "N" standard router. Once the known capacitor issue is handled, you will get years of service.
1 of 1 found this helpful This is an EXCELLENT router once the well-known capacitor failure issue is handled. The vast majority of these devices that are sold 'as-is' or even 'non-functional' are having this same predictable, and easily repaired failure. The RT-N16 is highly compatible with a variety of 3rd party software, in addition to the carrying the excellent stock firmware, ASUSWRT.
This is perhaps the single best value available in an "N" standard router today.
