Imperial dimensions save hassle

This particular model has a 0.200 inch finder diameter, which avoids metric conversion if your milling machine is set in inches. I'm sure the ubiquitous 10mm models are equally good, just not as convenient for the circumstance.

great for the price

Pedal and body are plastic, so might not last as long as metal construction but you can't beat the price. Includes a slide switch to select either 10k or 50k pot for maximum compatibility with whatever you use it with. Uses microphone grade cable for long cord life.

Best low cost video tripod I've found

This is actually my second purchase of the same model, both so they'll be compatible with each other and because I like the design. It has a ball socket and bubble level for more or less instant camera leveling. Twin handles make for better/ smoother handling torque. The dual leg design is way more sturdy and rigid than an average photo tripods. You get a pair of EZ mount plates so that you can swap gear without having to remove and remount the plate - that's a really helpful touch. Comes with a canvas travel bag and is light enough to not stretch your arm.
